I grew up in Indiana, studied design and photography, and eventually found myself drawn to the energy of New York City. Before product work, I spent years designing for fashion and beauty brands, where I learned how to move fast, refine details, and create clean visual systems.
Photography has always shaped how I think. It taught me how to look for clarity, structure, and balance — skills that translate directly into the way I design interfaces and products. I’m naturally visual, but also analytical. I like understanding how things work, why users behave the way they do, and how design can guide them toward what they need.
My path into product design grew out of that mix. I’ve designed ecommerce experiences, brand sites, and eventually more complex platforms like legal-tech SaaS tools and internal applications. I work end-to-end: understanding the problem, mapping flows, creating simple structures, designing interfaces, and working with developers to bring everything to life.
What motivates me is creating work that feels clean, intuitive, and useful — something that makes someone’s day easier, helps a team stay organized, or brings more clarity to a complicated workflow. Good design doesn’t need to be loud; it needs to make sense, feel effortless, and stay consistent.
